Getting the opportunity to meet a couple, be chosen to shoot their best day ever, and get to know their families throughout the entire process and day of is one of the coolest parts about being a photographer. Getting the chance to do it a second time for the same family?! EVEN BETTER!
I met Becca’s sister Hanna and her fiance John in 2013 when I had the opportunity to shoot their wedding in Liberty, MO. It was a GORGEOUS day and the whole thing was truly sweet. They were surrounded by wonderful family and celebrated alongside all of their friends. Fast forward to 2016: Becca and her mom, Debbie, reached out to me to let me know that she was now getting married and they wanted to use me as their photographer once again!
I can’t tell you how incredibly exciting it is for clients to not only choose to book me once, but twice! My heart just swells. And, BONUS, I get to see all of their family one more…including Hanna and John’s new addition, Miss Ruby Belle! It’s amazing to be able to keep up with and see my couples grow after the wedding is said and done!
Drew and Becca had a sweet and simple wedding at the Grand River Chapel on the William Jewell Campus, and chose to have the reception at Restoration 1894, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite venues up north! Although it was about -5 degrees all day, these two were absolute CHAMPS by letting me get them outside to catch some incredible and wintery shots. With beautiful and earthy florals, a breathtaking wedding gown, teary vows, and ALL of the celebratory dancing, these two made it off to a great start to the rest of their lives together.
Drew + Becca, it was absolutely my pleasure to shoot your wedding and I wish you both the very best in your future together!
All my love,
Aubrey
